About Madge T. James Kindergarten Center

This school was named in honor of Madge T. James who served as Secretary to the Superintendent of Schools and Board of Education of the Webb City R-7 School District for 39 years. Mrs. James, mother of five, generated a love for learning...all five of her children graduated from college and two went on to become educators.
Madge T. James Kindergarten Center was built in 1998. The school houses 9 classrooms, a Title 1 Classroom, 1 Computer Lab, Speech, Multi-purpose room, Centerroom, and a Library Media Center.
In 2009, construction began on an addition that would include 3 additional classrooms, conference room, and another set of bathrooms. We are now pleased to offer both Preschool and Kindergarten classes to our school.
